Single anastomosis duodenoileal bypass with sleeve (SADI S) surgery with a 300 cm common channel – Dr. V. AMAR, HD video with audio, Please watch in 1080p
Sleeve gastrectomy with loop duodenal switch (SLDS), also known as single anastomosis duodenoileal bypass with sleeve (SADI S) is technically a loop modification of biliopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch (BPD DS) surgery. It is one of the most powerful bariatric and metabolic surgeries.
Technique – The gastric sleeve is formed using staplers. The first part of the duodenum is disconnected and anastomosed to the distal ileum in a loop fashion ≥ 300 cm proximal to the ileocecal junction. In this video I used Medtronic iDrive power gun with tristaplers and ligasure maryland.
