Individuals whose BMI is ≥ 30 kg/m2, cannot lose weight by lifestyle modifications alone because, their bodies got adopted to a higher weight level. Even if they lose initially, they regain lost weight over a period of time. These individuals need bariatric surgeries for weight loss. Just because you underwent bariatric surgery, that does not mean that you can eat anything you want.
